Project Manly is a whole-home renovation that brings together structural changes, a clearer layout and custom joinery to create a more coherent interior environment. The kitchen is a key part of that transformation and now sits as one of the most resolved spaces in the home.

The previous kitchen felt enclosed and disconnected, with a layout that restricted movement and materials that had dated over time. Light was available but the room lacked the clarity to make full use of it.

Working alongside Kelly from Kelly Gerber Interiors, the kitchen has been completely reworked. The new timber flooring anchors the space with warmth, the stone benchtops add depth and variation and the cabinetry has been designed for both function and visual calm. The curved rangehood introduces a gentle focal point that defines the cooking zone without overwhelming the room.

From a construction perspective, the new layout required careful sequencing to align services, joinery and structural adjustments. These refinements allow the space to operate more efficiently while keeping the visual language consistent with the rest of the renovation.

The result is a kitchen that feels grounded, cohesive and aligned with the direction of the wider project. It reflects the level of detail and planning that underpins Project Manly and sets a strong benchmark for the spaces that follow.
