From Dark Courtyard to Urban Oasis: A Backyard Transformation

Our clients approached us after several failed attempts to find a design team and builder who could meet their budget and vision for their property. The existing design ideas just didn’t add up, and they needed a comprehensive solution.

Through collaboration with our architect, engineer, and landscape architect, we developed a plan that ticked all the boxes. The project transformed the outdoor space from an underutilised, dim courtyard and lawn area into a luxurious and inviting urban oasis.

The result is a seamless flow from the house, transitioning into an expansive gazebo with warm timber details to provide the perfect space to shade from the sun.

The space overlooks the terraced sun deck and shimmering pool. Thoughtfully designed pathways provide access to the established gardens and we even integrated a cleverly hidden area beneath the deck to house the pool equipment, ensuring maintenance is both discreet and convenient.

This project required months of consultation and precise budgeting before construction began, ensuring that every aspect was carefully planned. It’s one of my most rewarding projects, and it’s always a pleasure to revisit the property to see the gardens flourishing and the entire outdoor area continuing to thrive.
