Collaborating closely with the client’s designer, our team navigated the labyrinth of technical details, ensuring every element contributed to the overall safety and functionality of the X-ray room. Enter the world of lead-lined plywood wall sheeting, a meticulous choice made in consultation with specialist suppliers. Even the viewing window, boasting a lead component nearly an inch thick, was selected to meet the highest containment standards.

No stone was left unturned; even the sliding door and its surrounding trim were meticulously lead-lined to guarantee 100% containment. Special attention was given to seemingly mundane features like power points and light switches, each equipped with bespoke shields to enhance the room’s safety measures.

Upon completion, the project underwent a rigorous certification process. A state-of-the-art measuring device, though expensive, was employed to confirm the absence of any radiation leakage.
