Unfortunately, home security today isn’t simply about protecting possessions. We increasingly hear reports of offenders entering homes while families are inside, which understandably makes people think much more seriously about how they protect the perimeter of their property.

One setup we particularly like is having the perimeter system automatically arm at a predetermined time each evening, once everyone is home and settled for the night.

If someone then enters a protected area—whether that’s coming up the driveway or accessing the property from the rear—the system can immediately activate, providing an early warning while the occupants are still safely inside their home.

And the technology has become incredibly intuitive. The software is straightforward and easy to use, making this type of security much more practical for everyday family life.
