As we approach the busiest time of year in the building industry this is where the ProBuilder systems and our building process comes into play most.

Having systems where everyone knows their role, what needs doing & when, really pays off as we take on our final projects in anticipation for the annual January break.

Featured in this post is a copy of my Mind Map. This is one of the first exercises I complete when bringing a new project on board. It’s a simple view of everything that happens from behind the scenes pre-start to all of the tasks that follow each other throughout the project. This simple view shows what is involved in an easy to read snapshot of the upcoming job. From here this information gets imported into my scheduling software where multiple tasks and trades are broken down into a daily basis.

With a record number of builders and sub-trades having been disqualified or suspended this year along with a 24.1% increase in September of business’s going into administration there is no better time to be working with the areas longest serving builder – ProBuilder & ProBuilder Repairs.
