24 Aug The ProBuilder End – of – Day “Wow Factor”

The photo you’re looking at shows something we call the end-of-day Wow Factor—and it’s something we expect on every ProBuilder site, every day.

The idea is simple.

At the end of the day, when our clients return home—or when clients living remotely receive their project updates—we want their first reaction to be:

“Wow.”

And that “wow” isn’t just about the quality of the building work.

It’s about arriving at a site that has been left clean, organised and presentable. Tools and materials are put away, rubbish is removed, access areas are clear and, most importantly, the site is left safe.

This particular project is a local re-roof following the devastating November hailstorms.

At the end of the day, everything on the roof has been gathered and prepared for removal. The new roof is being carefully blown down with a leaf blower so there are no metal fragments or debris left behind that could stain or rust when the overnight dew arrives.

There’s another little detail in the photo that we love.

Some fibre cement sheeting is temporarily resting on bags of insulation. Rather than simply putting it directly onto the new roof sheeting, the team has used the insulation bags to protect the roof from scratches.

Chances are, nobody would ever notice a small scratch up there. Much of this roof will eventually be covered with solar panels anyway.

But that’s not the point.

Quality is often demonstrated by what people do when nobody is going to see it.

It’s that level of care, pride and attention to detail that we value enormously at ProBuilder—and why we’re very proud of the workers and sub-trades who represent us on our clients’ homes every day.
