What is a refurbishment?

When it comes to making changes to your home, two terms that are often used interchangeably are “renovation” and “refurbishment.”

But, what is the difference?

A refurbishment is a home improvement project that involves making cosmetic changes to your home without making major structural changes. Refurbishments are often an upgrade or a make-over to your home and often involve a new kitchen, bathroom, laundry, new appliances and a fresh coat of paint.

There are many advantages to refurbishing your home.

Not only is it considered to be more cost effective than renovating, it can also save you time. Unlike the renovation process, we can generally get started quickly and the overall time from start to finish is 4-6 weeks.

When your home is ready for a refurbishment, the next step is to call on the experts.

At Probuilder, we have been refurbishing, building, renovating and repairing homes for over 30 years in the Hamilton, Ascot, Clayfield & surrounding areas. We love transforming your bathrooms, kitchens and laundries into a more functional and modern space.

Before we have a conversation with you to discuss your project we ask that you fill out our questionnaire. This has been designed to help us understand how we may be able to help you.

Here is an example of a refurbishment job that we did in Clayfield.
